Singer, Guitarist, Songwriter

Brett Monten

has been playing and singing in Adelaide since the late 80's with a wide variety of acts, including solo, acoustic duo (Dangerfield!), cover bands (Crossfire, Phantom Jam, The Veine) to Blues (Lapis), Rock 'n' Soul (PlanB) and Acoustic Rock (Voodoo Tattoo).

His unique sound, somewhere between Neil Young and Pinky (from MachineGun Fellatio) and natural, easy, manner makes him a unique, and at the same time, familiar stage presence.

He has also appeared as guest vocalist with Catherine Lambert and the Brit Rock explosion on the big stage at the Gov.

"I really enjoyed the touring and artistic growth that came along with it while fronting PlanB.", Brett says, "It was a wonderful learning experience for all and I was able to hone my skills in both intimate venues and large scale festivals."."I'm loving the new outfit, Voodoo Tattoo; all of us have really gelled as a unit and I'm really excited by the mutual respect and cameraderie."
